Factors Leading to Feelings of Inferiority

Our children are exposed to many situations that lead to feelings of inferiority and affect them deeply. Among these situations are:
- Embarrassing situations that the child may face.
- Impact of hereditary factors, such as illness or disability.
- Feelings of poverty or the lack of fulfillment of their basic needs.
- Frustration in achieving certain goals and desires.
- Failing to fill the child’s emotional tank with love and affection.
- Constantly labeling the child as a “failure” or subjecting them to bullying.
- Constantly frightening the child as a means to force them to obey orders.
- Restricting their movement and not leaving room for freedom; a child needs to try and experience everything themselves.
- Over-dependency: Constantly making the child feel that someone else will always handle their affairs and that they cannot accomplish anything alone.
