Low Self-Confidence in Children

As our children encounter many situations and interact with different people, we begin to discover the extent of their self-confidence. There are signs that indicate low self-confidence in children:

  • Lying to and deceiving others.
  • Engaging in certain unethical behaviors.
  • Underestimating the importance of matters.
  • Decline in academic achievement.
  • Loss of interest in usual activities.
  • Mood disturbances, feeling sad at times, and angry or prone to crying at others.
