Aggression in Children

A child’s violent and aggressive behavior stems from specific reasons that drive them toward it. We must understand these causes to be able to handle the behavior effectively.

Causes of Aggression in Children:

  1. Upbringing methods based on strictness and intolerance.
  2. Not allowing the child the freedom to express their opinions and inner needs.
  3. Failure to satisfy the child’s basic needs.
  4. Watching cartoons that contain violence.
  5. Parents exhibiting aggressive behavior themselves and practicing violence against the child.
  6. The nature of the child’s specific interactions at school, characterized by hostility.
  7. A lack of comfort, safety, and internal stability.
  8. Feelings of frustration, tension, and constant pressure.
  9. Poor internal psychological adjustment in the child.
