Forgetfulness in Children

- Many of our children suffer from forgetfulness, which affects their educational and academic performance. However, there are reasons behind this problem; if we recognize and understand them, we will be able to solve it.
Causes of Forgetfulness in Children:
- Lack of concentration during studying or because of similarities between information.
- Malnutrition and deficiencies in Omega-3, iron, potassium, sulfur, phosphorus, minerals, and vitamins such as A, B, and E.
- Obesity.
- Excessive television viewing.
- The child’s lack of a sense of security, lack of trust in those around them, and anxiety.
- Certain brain injuries or tumors that may cause memory weakness and forgetfulness.
- Relying on rote memorization without understanding while studying.
- Suffering from any physical illness, such as colds, high fever, colic, or headaches.
- Hunger and physical exhaustion.
