Learning Disabilities

There are many indicators of learning disabilities that can be observed in your child, allowing you to take the necessary measures before their condition worsens. These indicators include:

  • Deficit in Discrimination: The child’s inability to distinguish between shapes such as squares, circles, and triangles. This may later affect the child’s ability to learn alphabets and numbers.
  • Deficit in Visual-Motor Coordination: This is often the first thing parents notice at an early age while the child handles paper and pens, and it acts as an obstacle later on in learning how to write.
  • Deficit in Visual and Auditory Recall: This serves as evidence of a lack of attention and a lack of focus in the child.
  • Hyperactivity: Excessive physical activity in children creates a barrier to their ability to concentrate and pay attention, leading to an inability to reach academic achievements.
